Healing
Work is a process, not a set destination.
Just as in life, there is no finish line.
When
someone asks "how much
healing work do I need?" - it's like asking "where does the horizon
end?" Because the world is round, the answer is not linear but circular. There is no completion point -
it's about flowing and surrendering into the moment... one moment after another
moment after another... all stepping stones on your human journey -
your "life path". Healing work (just like your life) is this
ongoing process of surrender that continues for as long as you
live. You may only need the intervention of a healer for a
relatively short period of time or for the rest of your life
– who knows, but as long as you live you will always be
healing.
"When
you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the
floor.
It's to
enjoy each step along the way." Wayne Dyer
Many
people are under the impression that
healing is a one shot deal. You get a treatment and
“Shazam!” you are healed. We see something like
this
demonstrated in the life of Jesus where (according to legend) he
simply touched someone who was blind or crippled... and
“Bang!” they could then see or walk. From these
wondrous stories, we are quick to think that this is what a healing
should be, and we are quick to compare all other healers against
these extraordinary examples. This is totally understandable
– the human mind wants an easy and quick fix to every
problem. Its hard for us to stand in ambiguity, contradiction,
conflict, uncertainty, or any sort of tension for any length of
time before thinking “this is not working” and we
go on
to the next “new thing” or trend. Our attention
span
for anything uncomfortable is very brief.
I do
believe Jesus did these healings that
were attributed to him (though I don’t think he was the only
one in history who did such things). However, I also think that
history has set Jesus - and all those who followed him - in an
unrealistic light. Of course I think his life (to the extent that
it was accurately recorded) was a great example for us all to
emulate, but I also think his healings were taken out of a larger
context, and as it is spoken of today, they do not give us the
complete representation of what “healing” is really
“All” about. Sure, the blind saw and the cripple
walked... these are physical healings and they do occur even today.
Yet we are more than physical beings and we have more than just
physical ailments that need healing. There are many levels of our
being just as there are many levels of healing (and the physical is
the most superficial of the bunch). If one needs just the physical
healing, then “Shazam” “Bang”
that would be
it and off you go. But the physical illnesses that most people
present are rooted in the soul – and the soul is another
matter all together. Healing of the soul took time, even in
Jesus’ day and age. This was not an instantaneous event, even
by Jesus’ standards and abilities. So I reiterate... Healing,
especially deep soul healing - is a process. It takes time, but it
is time well spent for it does affect all other levels of our inner
reality and outer life. Consider: our souls are eternal. If it took
your soul lifetimes and lifetimes and lifetimes to create the
distortions and separations and issues that you now find yourself
in, common sense says that it would take some time and lots of
processing to undo. Don’t be in such a rush to leave before
the miracles can happen.
A lot of
the healing occurs when you are
standing in ambiguity, contradiction, conflict, uncertainty and
tension - this is integral to the healing process, though you
wouldn’t think it (nor want it) to be so.
Jesus
said “follow me and take up
your cross”. What does that mean?
When a person is going through their “healing
process”, they are weighted down with the density and burdens
of their karma... dropped into the dark holes of their shadowy
unconscious... faced off against the walls of their
limitations....
(Hardly a description of something pleasant or nice).
And these
burdens and holes and walls are
uncomfortable places to be in, no doubt. One is confronted with all
the ambiguity, contradiction, conflict, uncertainty and tension
that already exists in the soul. Its not that
Spirit is
making you feel things that are not within you – quite the
contrary – everything you feel is sitting inside you
somewhere buried within your subconscious and energy field (among
other places). And many cases, the only way you are going to heal
and be free of them is if you face and embrace them directly, and
keep facing and embracing them until this “stuff”
is
transformed and dissipated.
Though
this healing work will accelerate your
processing (i.e. your "internal life journey”) many times
over and beyond what one may normally experience in one life,
healing does take time. It is very likely that you may not feel or
sense anything occurring during some of the healing sessions. This
is common at some stages along the path. At other times, you may
feel like you are plugged into the universal wall socket. The range
of experiences is virtually infinite (see Testimonials).
This is
extremely advanced work that
goes to the root causes of your condition - to the very highest,
lowest, deepest and most peripheral levels of your energy and
consciousness. Very few souls are consciously aware of everything
that occurs on all these levels, least of all at the higher
dimensions and in the subtle energy fields extending off the body.
No matter, every session will affect everyone, whether you are
consciously and spiritually aware or not. However, I have found
that most women (generally) are more apt to have a heightened
sensitivity (and receptivity) to this work, due in part to a
greater attention they have given to their inner bodily, emotional
and psychic awareness - in contrast to most men (in this
westernized society at least) who are (generally) over-fixated on
the physical and mental bodies and their respective planes of
existence.
Some
people can experience a delayed
reaction to the healing energies, not sensing any changes until a
few days go by. If you look at how your entire week unfolds you may
notice some subtle if not dramatic shifts. If you do not, don't
worry... as they say “you can’t see the forest from
the
trees". Meaning, it's very hard to have a clear perspective or
objective view of your own healing process and spiritual path
(considering that you are in the midst of your own "stuff"). This
is why others usually sense the changes in you before you
do.
This work
is cumulative - each
subsequent session does build on and magnify the results of the
previous session. This means that the more healing segments you do,
the more healing you will receive - and the greater your results
will be. I believe that if you only do one session, I am sure it
will be of some benefit, maybe even to saving you from some
unnecessary hardship, pain and suffering further on down the road.
But if you want to derive the maximum benefits from this work, your
persistence - by continuing on with the healing - is
needed.
Your
Truth
Due to the nature of my consciousness
and
spiritual
energy (as I am working with you during the healing session) what
is the "Truth" of your personal "reality" - including any "baggage"
or "stuff" (i.e. "karma") you may have - will most likely be
brought up to the surface of your conscious awareness and
experienced (in one way or another) as it moves through your energy
field... to be eventually released. Depending upon what kind and
how much of this "baggage" you have, this movement may seem
pleasant or unpleasant, but this baggage is part of your reality,
and like it or not, you are personally responsible for it. These
are the things that make up the curriculum for your life learning
and healing process. This must be understood - I do not make you
experience anything that is not already inside of you... I just
assist you and your High Self in bringing it to the surface to be
healed and cleared and released in a safer, faster and easier
manner than if you did it alone.
This
healing work is not about avoiding
your inner reality. Rather, within the safe and sacred healing
space created by Spirit, it is about uncovering, acknowledging,
releasing and removing lifetimes worth of:
hidden emotional buttons that keep us in reaction to life...
irritating psychic sore spots that make our lives
uncomfortable...
dark subconscious shadows that sabotage our relationships...
attachments and addictions that control our lives and ruin our
health...
submerged memories and secrets that trouble our dreams and keep us
in fear...
resistances that are holding us in ignorance and denial....
All these things (and more) are festering under the surface of our
energy and consciousness field, slowly and insidiously stealing
bits and pieces of our passion and zest for life.
Healing - especially deep and profound healing - may often
bring on some “undesirable” side effects (to put it
mildly). This is par for the course and must be understood within a
larger context. For instance, as a result of soul retrieval work -
that which was once ours and is returning to us to be integrated -
may not feel pleasant, easy, light or acceptable. In fact, that
which was once ours may even have been considered (at the time)
“undesirable”... before we rejected and projected
it
from out of our being into the furthest reaches of time and space.
However we judge it, these so called "undesirable" aspects of our
soul were (and still are) an important part of us, parts that we
are responsible for, and parts that also hold special learning
opportunities.
These rejected and
projected aspects - generally called our "shadow" selves - can just
as easily be enlightened or dark. We can reject the good in us just
as easily as we can reject the (so called) bad, but (like it or
not) it is all a part of our inherent make up and truth of who we
are. In any truth – even a truth that is uncomfortable
– therein, through or beyond it lay our power, our love, our
treasure, our hidden gifts. If we dispense with the judgment, we
see that it is all a gift from God (even such feelings as
anger, grief, sadness, depression, etc). As they say, a smile is a
frown turned upside down. As you receive the healing work and begin
to process your “frowns” (your
“stuff”),
you will (later) be able to smile even that much more.
The more
we can accept and
embrace...
all of
our Sadness - the greater our Joys
all of
our Anger - the greater our Life Force
all of
our Fear - the greater our Courage
all of
our Darkness – the greater our Light
all of
our Limitations – the greater our Triumph
all of
our Walls – the greater our Ascension
all of
our Shadow – the greater our Soul |
This is
what the crucifixion and resurrection
is really about.
Sometimes
the truth of our being is fiery,
bold and angry....
Probably because of its potential as being such a destructive
force, the energy of anger has been quite maligned in our society.
It has been more suppressed, repressed, misjudged, misunderstood,
misdirected, misused and feared more than about anything else, yet
anger in its pure form is just the raw and primal creative life
force. The pure energy of anger is not bad in and of itself, only
in how we use or abuse it. (Remember Jesus in the Temple with the
money changers?). In my opinion, suppressed anger is the # 1
emotional energetic cause of cancer (and many other illnesses) in
our culture.
Sometimes
the truth of our being is inward,
quiet and sad....
We expect of ourselves
to always have
a happy face on, that we are always positive and strong - and if we
don’t there is something wrong. There is much in our personal
history, let alone our world history - that we could and should be
sad about. Many of us have had terribly painful experiences that
have wounded us deeply, secretly, inwardly... and still we may feel
helpless or powerless about them. We have a right to feel sad,
angry and even cry. It is a part of who we all - our truth... and
that part holds a special gift, a lesson, some wisdom, a deeper
insight into being human.
Crazy
Wisdom
As long as we are living within the
walls of
our
subjective sense perceptions... and as long as we interpret and
translate that data according to our conceptual understanding, we
can never be 100% certain that we have the corner on the whole
truth. What is perceived or interpreted by us as
“bad”,
to Spirits more encompassing perspective may be considered as
“good”. One word for this is “Crazy
Wisdom”.
Almost as
if Spirit sees us and our lives
not just the way we see it but in reverse,
like the negative of a photograph or an image in a mirror...
not just in black and white but in all the living colors,
like the full spectrum of the rainbow...
not just in one moment but in all time,
forward and backwards, fast and slow,
not like we see ourselves but upside-down,
inside-out, turned around and about...
like a house of mirrors in the carnival of life.
And
who’s to
say one of those perspectives is more or less valid or real than
another. Since the healing work comes from the unlimited all
encompassing perspective of Spirit, it will help us see and know
the way Spirit sees and knows – from this place of expanded
reality and truth.
From our
subjective opinion, of all the things
we experience, some we consider negative and some we consider
positive. But just because our judgment considers it so,
doesn’t mean that it is ultimately so. No matter what (in my
opinion) happens on this earthly plane, everything is orchestrated
by our collective Higher Selves and God for a reason that is waaaay
beyond our conscious knowing or controlling. There are no
accidents... but if by chance there are, those accidents (and all
else) are being used by Spirit to assist us in evolving, to working
out our karma, and to learning the lessons of life (to name just a
few). Likewise, this healing work is offered to you as an
alternative - a "window of opportunity" – an
“intentional accident” if you will... one that is
designed to accelerate your healing process. That it acts to
quickly uncover some of the unpleasant things that are lodged
within your ego-mind-body-energy field is a blessing. It may not
always feel that way in the moment, but if you do it long enough,
you will see and know that I am telling the truth. This work is
designed to peel you, layer by layer, bit by bit, till what remains
is closer to (if nothing but) your Essential Self - Love and
Light.
This work
does what life does to us,
except in a more direct intentional and expedient way. In order to
go deeper and closer to that core, sometimes we must go through
parts that are rotting away, dark, smelly and not very pretty. You
may see, feel, and intimately become reacquainted with what that
is, or it may just vanish like a puff of air. Whatever happens,
continue to remember that “this too shall pass”, as
you
move closer to your goal - your inner love essence and God Self.
And if you discontinue the formal healing session, you will have
(at the least) opened up to a level of your self that you had not
accessed before.
