The Healing Process

Life has no finish line or completion point
only a flowing from one moment to another.
So to ask "when does healing stop?"

is like asking "where is the horizon?"
As our world is spinning, this line is moving
and our answer is circular
no beginning... and no end.
Healing is a process... not a destination

"When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor.

It's to enjoy each step along the way." Wayne Dyer

The Pressure Cooker
When you go through this healing process, all sorts of confusing, conflicting and uncomfortable thoughts and feelings may come to the surface. When this happens, it's natural to think that the healing is not working. This can't be further from the truth. Of course we all want a quick fix or easy way out of every problem, but to be successful with anything in life (especially healing), one must be able to stay in the process and not bail out when the going gets tough. It's like using a pressure cooker - you have to keep the lid sealed on tight if you want your food to cook quickly. If you are really serious about healing, give it a chance - do enough sessions to see what can be done.

Similar to the the transformation of caterpillar to butterfly
the transformation of your soul
does not happen in the light but takes place in the dark
does not happen instantly but over a period of time
does not happen by self effort but by surrendering to nature and God.
Don’t be in such a rush to leave before the miracle is complete.

Unreasonable Expectations
If you come to this work expecting instant results
(like you have come and left so many other things)
you will be setting yourself up to again be disappointed.

We are quick to compare (and judge) all healers against histories extraordinary (if not mythic) examples, such as a Jesus. His life (to the extent it was accurately recorded) is a great example to emulate, but it also leaves the impression that healing is a one shot deal or quick fix. Jesus did not totally and instantaneously cure everyone who came to him. Sure, there are a few recorded instances where his intervention made possible the blind to see and the crippled to walk, yet we are more than physical bodies with physical ailments - we are extremely complex beings who exist on more levels of reality than we are aware of. In any event, healing of all these levels (of the body mind heart and soul) is a long process that takes a lot of faith, patience, persistence and hard work.

Even though no "sane" person would willingly put themselves in such a position, healing often occurs in spaces of ambiguity, conflict, uncertainty and tension.

This is the contradiction that is life:
Those who lose win.
Those who come last are first.
Those who give receive.
Those who brave darkness become light

"The Dark Night of the Soul"
Jesus said “Follow me and take up your cross”.
When a person is going through this “healing process”, they may feel as if being dropped into the dark and empty holes in their souls... weighed down with the density of their karma... faced off against the thick high walls of ego resistance (hardly descriptions of anything pleasant or nice). All uncomfortable places to be in, no doubt, yet... it is important to clarify that all this stuff pre-existed long before we (the Spirit activating your healing) ever came around to "stir up the pot" that is your soul. It's not that Spirit (in the healings) is making you feel things that are not within you. Quite the contrary – everything you experience is inside you somewhere, buried deep within your subconscious mind and energy field. And in many cases, the only way to be free of this stuff is to directly face and embrace it, over and over... until fully transformed.

Though this healing work will accelerate you beyond what you may normally experience in one life, to participate in the healing process does require faith, faith when your experience is troubling or painful... and faith when you experience nothing at all.

There are times you may feel nothing happening during a healing sessions (at various stages along the path, this is common). At other times you may feel like you are plugged into the universal wall socket.... The range of experiences is virtually infinite (see Testimonials).

Life on the healing path may feel like:
a fast furious ride on a roller coaster
a slow arduous climb up a mountain
a leisurely drive down the highway
a wade in the shallow end of a clear pool
a plunge into the murky depths of an ocean.
Accept and flow with whatever comes
and you will be efforlessly carried
deeper and deeper
into the core essence of life.

This is extremely advanced work that goes to the root causes of your condition - to the very highest, lowest, deepest and most peripheral levels of your being. Very few souls are aware of everything that occurs on all these levels, least of all on the higher dimensions and subtle energy fields extending way far off the body. No matter, every session has some affect, whether you are aware of it or not. I have found that most women (generally) are more apt to have a heightened sensitivity (and receptivity) to this work due in part to a greater attention they have given to their emotional and psychic awareness... in contrast to most men (in this westernized society at least) who are (generally) over-fixated on the physical body and intellect.

The Delayed Reaction Phenomena
If you sense nothing happening during a healing session,
you may notice changes in your mood and energy the next morning...
or within a few days.
If you do not, don't worry.
Healing that occurs on the higher dimensions of your soul
takes time to trickle down to your human awareness.
Healing that occurs on the peripheral layers of your energy field
takes time to trickle in to your human awareness.
Healing that occurs in the deepest wells of your heart
takes time to trickle out to your human awareness.
In any case, aware or not, this work has an effect upon you.

Seeing the Forest from the Trees
When you are in the midst of your own "stuff, it's very difficult to have a clear perspective about where you are at in your healing process and spiritual path. This is why others usually sense the changes in you when you do not (others are more objective). This is also why it is important to work with a healer - they have already been on this journey and know their way through.

Building a Foundation
This work is Cumulative: each session builds on and magnifies the results of previous sessions. In other words, the more healing work you do, the greater the results you receive. If you only do one session, I am sure it will be of some benefit (perhaps even saving you from some unnecessary hardship, pain and suffering further on down the road). But if you want to receive the maximum benefits from this work, many sessions are needed.

Your Truth
The healing work does not make you experience something that is not already inside of you... nor does it make you feel something that you would not otherwise experience at some (near or distant) time in your future. Rather, it simply helps bring all that is the "Truth" of who you are and what you hold within (be it light or dark, good or bad, pleasant or unpleasant) up to the surface of your conscious awareness... to be transformed and healed in a safer, faster and easier manner than if you did it alone.

This healing work is not about avoiding your inner reality.
Rather, within the safe and sacred healing space created by Spirit, it is about uncovering, acknowledging, releasing and removing lifetimes worth of:
  • hidden emotional buttons that keep you in reaction cycles
  • irritating psychic sore spots that make life uncomfortable
  • dark subconscious shadows that sabotage relationships
  • attachments and addictions that control your life actions
  • submerged memories and secrets that trouble your dreams
  • resistances that are holding you in ignorance denial and fear
All these things (and more) are festering under the surface of your being,
slowly and insidiously stealing bits and pieces of your passion and zest for life.

Judge Not
When we judge any experiences, feelings or memories that come up in life (or in the healing sessions) as "undesirable", we isolate and condemn these parts of ourselves into the shadows of our soul,
or...
we separate and project these parts of ourselves out into the universe.
These rejected parts can just as easily be "good" or (so called) "bad", but liked or not, whatever we carry makes up the "Truth" of who we are, and "Truth" - especially a "Truth" that is uncomfortable - holds the potential power for personal transformation (maybe even the hope of love). If we can dispense with the self judgment, we may eventually see our feelings of anger, grief, sadness, depression... as gifts or "opportunities" for change (instead of things to get rid of and blame).

The healing work presents us the special opportunity to redeem and reintegrate these lost separate rejected parts of ourselves from out of the darkness, thereby embracing their gifts of self forgiveness and self love.

The more we can accept and embrace...
all of our Sadness - the greater our Joys
all of our Anger - the greater our Life
all of our Hatred - the greater our Love
all of our Fear - the greater our Courage
all of our Shadows – the greater our Light
all of our Limitations – the greater our Triumph

Sometimes the truth of our being is fiery, bold and angry....
Because of its potential as a destructive force, the energy of anger has been quite maligned in our society. It has been suppressed, repressed, misjudged, misunderstood, misdirected, misused and feared, yet anger in its pure form is just the raw and primal creative life force. The pure energy of anger is not bad in and of itself, only in how we use or abuse it (remember Jesus in the Temple with the money changers). In my opinion, suppressed anger is the # 1 emotional energetic cause of cancer (and many other illnesses).

Sometimes the truth of our being is inward, quiet and sad....
We expect of ourselves to always have a happy face on, that we are always positive and strong... and if we don’t there is something wrong. There is much in our personal history (and world history) that we could and should be sad about. Many of us have had terribly painful experiences that wounded us deeply, secretly, inwardly... and still we may feel helpless or powerless about them. We have a right to feel sad, angry and cry - it is a part of our life experience - a part of our "Truth"... and that part holds a special gift, a lesson, some wisdom, a deeper insight into being human.

Crazy Wisdom
The human ego minds' tendency is to judge, label and energetically charge our experiences with a negative or positive spin. Creating such a personal version of "the truth" does not make it "Universal Eternal Ultimate Truth"... only a truth that exists in our own minds and small lives. If we want to experience ourselves within a grander context, it's important to align or harmonize our small selves to the ways our "Higher Selves" sees and know us.

Spirit sees us and our lives
clearly.. completely.. unconditionally
in the fullness of one moment.. and for all time
beginning to end.. forwards and backwards.. fast and slow
upside-down.. inside-out.. around and about

But as long as we judge our life experiences according to conceptual ego mind understanding, our lives will never be 100% aligned to what is the Universal Eternal Ultimate "Truth" (especially when what we judge as “bad”, Spirit may consider “good”). Taking Spirits perspective on as ones own is called “Crazy Wisdom”.

"Good" or "Bad", all what happens on this earthly plane is used by our Higher Selves and God for reasons waaaay beyond our conscious knowing or controlling. From Spirits perspective, there are no unplanned accidents... but if by chance there were, they (like everything else), would be used to process out our karma, learn our soul lessons, and eventually evolve into and manifest our highest potential.
In the process that is life, sometimes we must travel through parts of ourselves that are rotten, dark, smelly, not very nice or pretty. In the healing sessions, we may see, feel and intimately become reacquainted with that... or it all may just vanish like a puff of smoke. Whatever happens, remember “This Too Shall Pass”.

This healing work is offered to you as an alternative... a "window of opportunity" (or intentional "accident” if you will) designed to accelerate your healing process. That it uncovers some unpleasant thoughts and feelings may not always feel like a blessing, but if you do the work long enough, you will know it to be so.

This healing work will help you process layer by layer, bit by bit
the illusions and untruths from out of your mind and heart.
From this clarity you will eventually feel and finally know The God Self
Your Inner Love Essence - Universal Eternal Ultimate Truth.
